I choose to categorize this picture as an example of Danish cultural heritage. It's good to see that the hot dog stand is still attracting people, even in a time of a plethora of other fast food options. Rikke and I didn't stop (this time), but I have to admit that the smell tickled my nostrils and whet my appetite. It will have to be another good time. Today I have read that the hot dog stand has been part of the Danish cityscape since the 1920s. Although many have disappeared, it lives on as an icon in some places, such as here #hosfarfar, so perhaps the picture is not only an everyday scene, but also a story about identity, community and tradition? Bon Appetit!
