For me, there’s something deeply satisfying about spending an hour or so with pen and paper—stepping away from the digital world and focusing on the analogue act of drawing. I’m far from an expert, but that’s not the point; it’s the joy, the focus, and the calm feeling of being in a flow state. And I’ll admit, I have a soft spot for drawing comic‑style characters.
Swapping the screen for pen and paper activates fine‑motor skills, improves concentration and reduces stress, creating a focused flow that boosts dopamine and overall well being.
