




Ballebro is a ferry harbor and a seafront hotel 2 km east of Blans on Sundeved. There has been a ferry across Als Fjord to Hardeshøj on Als for at least 300 years. The crossing takes about 10 minutes and is now operated by M/F Bitten Clausen. In Ballebro, there is also Ballebro Færgekro which was built in 1729 as a farm at the ferry harbor in Ballebro. In 1870, they received a license to operate as an inn. The Lorenzen family has been running the place since 1729. The old documents contain licenses for distillery, brewery and bakery. November 2021.
